About Us
Lakeshore Christian Preschool was founded in 1973 as Tega Cay’s “Treehouse Kindergarten.”  Throughout the years, its location and name changed from Tega Cay Christian School to it’s current name as a ministry of Lakeshore Christian Fellowship. Lakeshore is currently the largest preschool in the area, servicing established Tega Cay and Fort Mill as well as newer communities such as Lakeshore on Lake Wylie and Baxter Village.

We believe God created all children in His image and has instructed parents to teach their children in accordance with Biblical principles.  Christian education addresses the needs of students spiritually, academically, and physically. 

Through our small class sizes, caring staff and loving, orderly environment, we endeavor to assist families in helping every student reach their full potential.  Learning centers modeled by the Fort Mill School District Kindergarten program will be implemented in the 2007-2008 school year, merging 30 years of excellent preschool instruction with an age-appropriate Christian curriculum for each age group. 

This curriculum includes Bible, Music, P.E., hands-on math, science, literature-based activities, and for the 4 year old students phonics and Spanish as well.

Lakeshore Christian Preschool aims to help children achieve their God-given potential by providing an excellent, positive and ordered learning environment with age-appropriate experiences of lasting value.
